Muse: Smashing guitars

Not only is Matt Bellamy the frontman of one of the world's greatest rock bands, he's also a world record holder. Impressive, eh. What for? Smashing the most guitars on a tour - 140 in total - and it is also rumoured the band had to pay £150 per night to expense the inevitable climax. Oh and incidentally, Dom has allegedly been injured three times from having guitars thrown at him by Matt.

Robbie Williams: Feel

The video of the song «Feel» shoot took place in Calgary, Canada in September 2002, amongst the breath-taking scenery of the Rocky Mountains. Robbie had never ridden a horse before, but, as with many things, he proved to be a natural cowboy! This particular video shoot was one he enjoyed performing in most as he not only rode and bathed in the great outdoors, but he also got to play bingo with Daryl Hannah.

Sziget Festival

Following the end of the Communist era in 1989, the formerly lively summer festival scene in Budapest faced a crisis due to a sudden loss of governmental funding. A group of artists and rock enthusiasts proposed the Sziget event as a way to bridge this gap. The festival was started in 1993, originally called Diáksziget. This first event was organized by music fans in their spare time and ran well over budget, taking until 1997 to repay the losses. From 1996 to 2001 it was sponsored by Pepsi and renamed Pepsi Sziget. It has been called Sziget Fesztivál since 2002 and it is held every August in northern Budapest.

On the band's first tour

Guns' Buick LeSabre broke down 105 miles outside Los Angeles. The band hitchhiked, riding much of the way with a semitrailer truck driver on speed. Starving and broke, the band members ate raw onions from a field, and played just one show in Seattle. The club owner refused to pay the band, coughing up $100 only after he was threatened.
